The full name of this product is Terressentials Fragrance Free Moisture Cream. According to the Terressentials website this product is U.S.DA Certified Organic, though it is difficult to find in dependant verification of this. Positives The Terressentials skin moisturizer is certified organic to organic food grade standards by the, United States Dept. Agriculture (U.S.D.A). Being certified organic rather than just using natural ingredients gives many benefits to the consumer. No Synthetic Chemicals With Terressentials Fragrance Free Moisture Cream you have the security of knowing that this product is free of synthetic chemicals, pesticides, genetically modified organisms and most importantly animal testing. Certified Organic A result of being U.S.D.A certified simultaneously eliminates all toxic parameters in the score. Miessence skin moisturizer contains no cancer causing chemicals, no reproductive toxins, no safety violations, no allergens or skin irritants. Basically, as stated above, there are no synthetic chemicals in any of their products. Negatives The U.S.D.A has recently announced it will terminate its certified organic labeling system by the end of 2005. It would appear that the U.S.D.A is not committed to certified organic as it once was. For a more committed certifying body I would refer you to the A.C.O (Australian Certified Organic). Recommendation In summary I would recommend this skin moisturizer on the basis that it is certified organic - for the time being - by the U.S.D.A. and contains all natural ingredients.
